The Project..
With the development of Queens universities McClay library Queens introduced their new, extensive data centre. The library was a part of a £40 million landmark development by the university.
Meeting the clients requirements..
The original installation of a new data centre required 2 x 250KVA UPS supporting the load in an N+N configuration to ensure total system redundancy. This formed part of a network of UPS systems offering protection for the university’s data centre in Belfast. Ashdale are proud to have supplied, commissioned the 500 KVA of UPS power in 2008. Then in 2019 we were delighted to support exstension works with a new Riello 80KVA solution.
